Rochelle Ung
Rochelle Ung, originally from Hershey, Pennsylvania began dancing at the age of
10. She began her training at One Broadway the Dance Center under Nacy Watson,
Wendy Watson and Bethe Nardis. She performed as a child at Chocolate World,
HersheyPark, and with Sesame Street's Bob McGrath. Rochelle continued her training
and education receiving a bachelors degree in Dance Performance at Oklahoma City
University. She was a member of Pep Dancers and the American Spirit Dance
Company and performed with the Oklahoma City Philharmonic in Yuletide Magic.
Rochelle moved to Los Angeles 6 years ago to pursue her dream and began her
teaching career. She has danced for jazz and modern companies such as JADD and
Hart Pulse Dance Company. She has had the opportunity to work with and study under
great choreographers and teachers such as Mandy Moore, Lynn Cramer, Tony G., Lisa
Thompson, Robert Reed, Jo Rowan and Nicole Harlen. Rochelle is excited to be
teaching her second year here at Fancy Feet Dance Studio. She offers classes that
focus on technique and style as well as encourages her students to dance with
confidence and passion for the art.
